Stay in our characterful & charming Grade II listed holiday cottage, attached to Riverside House.
Thought to date back to 1600, the cottage was a brew house for the early occupants of Riverside House. In later years (around 1795), Reverend Wilkes of Costessey held the first recorded Baptist Service in the cottage. In the mid 1800’s the cottage was occupied by Hannah Scott who used to drive cows up the Street to the common. Now it is a self-contained holiday cottage named Hannah Scott’s.
